Bonnie Ip, PT, DPT, ATC received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training through California State University, Fullerton. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy through the University of Pittsburgh.
During graduate school, Bonnie had the opportunity to travel with Hearts in Motion to provide physical therapy services in Guatemala. She was able to provide quality care to locals, some who had to travel hours on a crowded bus to the free medical clinics. She also participated with a few classmates to compete for the Marquette Challenge where she raised money for the Foundation of Physical Therapy Research by hosting events such as continuing education classes, a wine event, and a cross fit event.
Bonnie has worked with patients in various clinical settings with high school and collegiate sports, performers and cast members at Disneyland, spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries in rehabilitation, acute care patients in the hospital, and multiple orthopedic outpatient clinics. She hopes to continue to advance her skill set throughout her career and help many more patients get back to health.
