Dave A. Zareno PT, DPT received his Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly, Pomona in Biotechnology, a Master's of Divinity from Master's Seminary, and finally went to Loma Linda University to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Even before Physical Therapy, Dave had a passion to help people. Whether it was working for a local church or traveling abroad to do mission work in countries like Uganda, Ethiopia, Haiti, or Belize, Dave always took joy in helping others, being able to travel, and experiencing different cultures. Since he grew up in a family of healthcare professionals, it was only a matter of time before he would go back to school to become a Physical Therapist.
During his time at Loma Linda, Dave experienced a variety of settings during his clinical affiliations and was able to receive experience in ergonomics, movement analysis, and sports rehabilitation. He has a passion to continue to grow and learn as a therapist, and is currently pursuing a Manual Physical Therapy Certification. As a healthcare professional, he takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation. This means that the road to recovery does not only take place in the clinic, but involves improved biomechanics and movement strategies that are incorporated on a daily basis to encourage healing and decrease pain.
Dave has a profound interest in the outdoors and enjoys hiking, surfing, and climbing. He has experience working in retail outfitting people for outdoor excursions and combines this experience with therapy to help you get back on the trail and make the most of this adventure we call life.
